Three attacks on a women leader in one article. I just read that the incoming first lady of France is single and although Ms Trierweiler is the President’s life partner the fact that she is not married to him is wreaking havoc. Why? Because certain people do not want her to sleep with her partner when she visits other countries. Wow. She was also referred to as the first French first lady in history to work. She is a journalist. It always surprises me that raising children, domestic work and volunteer activities are not considered work. And finally she has apparently acquired the nickname “Rottweiler” for slapping a man for a sexist comment. No wonder women avoid politics. Who needs this kind of treatment?
