How women and men lead differently

I am always suspicious of research that looks at how women lead. First of all, this research only looks at those women who have made it into a leadership position. Second these women are not only rare, the sample does not include those who did not make it to the top (perhaps more feminine types?). It is not solid research if it only looks at a small group of women who most definitely had to adjust to be able to be successful (perhaps adapt male tendencies?). Still, I guess it is good if we can ever figure out what is truly strong AND feminine, because history shows that we have clearly denied Feminine Intelligence from surfacing in leadership roles. Here is another article highlighting how women and men lead differently. http://blogs.hbr.org/cs/2012/03/a_study_in_leadership_women_do.html
