Here is another article on how lawyers are failing at work-life balance. One lawyer even blames the clients! If you following my writing you will know that that the term “work-life balance” is a fictitious term created by the media to suggest that individuals – not the institutions they work within – are somehow able to “find it”. This term clearly lays the full responsibility for “balance” on individuals instead of looking at the real culprit: a culture that promotes workaholism and keeping peolpe so busy they can’t even think about how they got onto the treadmill. http://www.nationalmagazine.ca/Articles/October-November-2012/Blazing-trails.aspx
