Only one country in the world has a majority of women in parliament

Thanks to Daphne Bramham who wrote a great article on the Rwanda majority-female parliament and how it  is one of the fastest growing economies in Africa. The genocide that killed most of the men in 1994 left women to lead in a very unique way. I am watching this rare situation with delight. [Source: Vancouver Sun, 8 March 2013]
