The Shafia family was found guilty this week of murdering their three daughters and x-wife, by drowning all four in a car. Judge, Robert Maranger said this in his final statement: “The apparent reason behind these cold-blooded, shameful murders was that four completely innocent victims offended your twisted notion of honour that is founded upon the domination and control of women, a sick notion of honour that has no place in any civilized society.“ Amen.
