Womens still worried about foot size

You might recall the foot binding torture popular in China and find it offensive. But you need look no further than your local mall to see women still wanting small feet.

According to research on 1000 women with size 8 or 9 feet, 82% admitted they were ashamed of their shoe size.  Think about it: Why do women want small feet? Sadly we are still adhering to a male-set standard that shames big,  tall and stable women. Having just come from London and Paris (on my holidays), the same could be said of the 5-7 inche heels that not only keep women hobbling and teetering but paying a fortune for flimsy foot wear. I beg fashion: Stop dis-empowering women! (Source Reuters; Survey by Debenhams department store)
