I have just started reading an amazing book: “Half the Sky – Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide” by Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn. It should be read by EVERY woman and girl. It tells of hundreds of remarkable stories of women and girls who have suffered from misogynist cultures and taken action to understand and change them. I will blog more later about their suggestions for us to help. Wow.
