New BC report suggests women still face many barriers

On May 6, 2015 an alliance of women’s groups released a report: “Women as a Catalyst for Economic Growth: A BC Action Plan,” which identifies key barriers and solutions to increasing the economic impact of women in British Columbia. As a follow up, Status of Women Canada has funded the Women’s Enterprise Centre to conduct four regional consultations throughout BC to build on the outcomes of this Action Plan and to ensure the rural voice is included. Consultations will take place in Kelowna, Victoria, Prince George, and Prince Rupert informing the development of regional action strategies. Learn more at CatalystforGrowth.ca
