Women’s faces not allowed in Advertisements in Israel

An extreme ultra orthodox Jewish group (Haredi Jews) in Israel is pressuring advertisers to remove all images of women from billboards.  And it’s working so well that even ballet studios no longer show women or girls on their promotions! As a result women around the world are being asked to send photos of themselves holding signs saying “Women should be seen and heard” to the New Israel Fund (NIF) who will then pull these photos together and post them around Jerusalem. Sad reality but great response. I hope it works.
