I just heard about the new documentary “Invisible War” about sexual assault and rape of women in the military. They found that since WWII an estimated 500,000 US military personnel have been sexually assaulted or raped. A female soldier in a combat zone is more likely to be raped by a fellow soldier than be killed by enemy fire. The producer Kirby Dick has other documentaries worth watching including “This Film is not Yet Rated” (2006) and “Twist of Faith” (2004). I love the truth found in documentaries and I applaud the bravery of those who produce them, [fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=”yes” overflow=”visible”][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ background_position=”left top” background_color=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” spacing=”yes” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” padding=”” margin_top=”0px” margin_bottom=”0px” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_direction=”left” hide_on_mobile=”no” center_content=”no” min_height=”none”][Globe & Mail 21 July 2012][/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
